Woman struck, killed by vehicle near Pecos and Lake Mead identified

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner has identified the woman struck and killed by a vehicle Friday night.

The coroner said 57-year-old Maria Guadalupe Ramirez-Cuadra of Las Vegas died in the incident.

It happened around 11 p.m. Friday near Pecos Road and Lake Mead Boulevard.

Las Vegas police said a Cadillac was traveling northbound on Pecos, south of Lake Mead.

Ramirez-Cuadra was attempting to cross Pecos, outside of a marked crosswalk. She was then struck by the Cadillac.

She died at the scene.
