Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman involved in a crash that killed a little girl has been released from jail.
22-year-old Wendy Carrion was driving six children on July 3 in an SUV, when she over-corrected and then overturned near the D Street exit. Her niece, 9-year-old Gabriela Casias, was killed.
Casias recently completed third grade at Squires Elementary.
NHP said three of the six kids in the SUV were not wearing seat belts. Those three were ejected from the vehicle, including Casias.
Carrion has since been released on her own recognizance on Tuesday.
She is ordered to remain on house arrest, and may not operate a vehicle.
