Woman hit by 2 cars in Reno pedestrian fatal
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Reno police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman who was struck by two cars in the middle of the night west of downtown.
Police say both drivers are cooperating with the investigation of the fatal accident reported about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Detectives say the area in the 5000 block of West 4th Street is not well lit and the Reno woman was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision.
She was struck by one vehicle then hit by another while on the ground.
Police say neither alcohol nor speed appears to be a factor.
