Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It looks like the VooDoo Zip Line at the Rio is finally getting ready to open.
The zip line has been delayed a couple of times but now it has announced it is hosting a job fair on Feb. 14.
The attraction is looking for an assistant manager, ride technicians, retail salespeople, photographer, promotional models and hosts.
The job fair is by appointment only. Applicants must fill out an application at www.voodoozipline.com. The zip line will contact applicants on Feb. 13 to schedule appointments for Feb. 14.
According to the press release, the zip line will open in early March. An exact date was not given.
The VooDoo Zip Line will connect the two towers of the Rio Las Vegas. It will begin on the patio of VooDoo Steakhouse on the 50th floor of the Masquerade Tower. Riders will then be propelled at speeds of up to 33 miles per hour to the adjoining 20-story Ipanema Tower.
Guests will then make a return trip back to the starting point, traveling backwards at 20 miles per hour.
VooDoo Zip Line will be open to the public from noon to midnight Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday beginning early March; only patrons 21 years of age or older will be allowed to ride after 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $24.99 per person (plus service fees) from noon to 5:30 p.m. and $37 per person (plus service fees) from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit www.VooDooZipLine.com.
