Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Dozens of Las Vegas residents grabbed their paint brushes and went to work trying to restore the Huntridge Theater.
The volunteers pitched in to help the Huntridge Revival group's efforts to restore the theater that was built in 1944.
After serving as a movie theater, performing arts center and concert venue, the theater has been vacant for almost a decade.
The group is hoping to change that, raising more than $200,000 towards their goal of renovating and eventually purchasing the historic building.
The group will be back at the Huntridge on Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
