Chef Joe Elevado is offering the Look of Love tasting menu for $85 per person. The menu begins with a special toast with the Aphrodisiac Sparkle, edamame with truffle salt, salmon sashimi, brown butter-miso crispy chicken lettuce cups, petite filet mignon in a creamy king crab bakudan with asparagus and a special chocolate surprise for dessert.
Executive Chef Mark LoRusso has developed a tantalizing five-course tasting menu that will be offered in addition to his full menu of innovative steak and seafood fare. The Valentine’s Day tasting menu includes Dungeness crab bisque, black truffle ricotta cannelloni, colossal prawns, roasted winter vegetables and is finished with a variety of delectable sweets. The menu is prix fixe, priced at $110 per person, not inclusive of beverages, tax or gratuity.
Buddy V's Ristorante
This Valentine's Day, diners can enjoy the Italian-spirit with a three course meal which starts off with a little bubbly featuring a glass of Ruffino Prosecco. Catina laredo is offering a three-course Valentine's Especialidad from Feb. 13-15. Guests can choose on item from each course. Course one is ensalada de mango, sopa de pimiento and the peach berry flaca flip; second course is sauteed shrimp with spicy mango mole sauce, ancho chile rubbed chicken breast with a chipotle rancho sauce or a 7 oz. Angus beef filet mignon and the passion fruit margarita; third course is fresh strawberries with cream or churros with a heart warmer. Cost is $25 per person, add $15 for cocktail pairing.

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar at The LINQ
Chayo will offer a specialty menu for two, priced at $75 per couple, to celebrate Valentine's Day. The dining experience will begin with the choice of Red Sangria made with brandy, fresh fruit juices, strawberry and orange; or the Chayo Margarita, complete with Sauza Gold tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime.
The first course includes a duo of Guacamole and Queso Fundido served with pork rinds or tortilla chips. For the second course, guests may choose between the De La Tierra with New York steak, Spanish chorizo and pork tenderloin; or the Del Mar served with seasonal fish, prawns and sea scallops. Both entrées will be accompanied by flour tortillas, spring onions, grilled cactus leaves, black beans, Mexican street corn and cilantro rice. To end the meal on a sweeter note, the postre will be a Chocolate Flan made with vanilla bean custard and caramel sauce. La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway
La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway at the Wynn Las Vegas is offering a prix fixe menu inspired from cities around the world on Feb. 14. Priced at $49 per person, the restaurant will offer a five-course menu with optional wine pairings for an additional $25 per person. To begin the city-inspired culinary experience, guests will enjoy a taste of Napa Valley, Calif., with poached salmon drizzled in a mayonnaise-based egg and caper parsley dressing; a puff pastry filled with sautéed mushroom and fontina cheese; and sliced tuna garnished with a zest of lemon and slices of avocado paired with a 2012 Gary Farrell, Chardonnay from Russian River Valley, Calif. Travelers of love will enjoy the San Francisco-inspired course including a vegetable salad with tomato, fennel and roasted squash topped with cider dressing and a delicious cheese plate with truffle tremor goat cheese and pear. This course will be paired with a 2012 Massican, Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. The next dish from Rome will make diners fall eternally in love with crispy calamari accompanied by sautéed arugula and spicy tomato; a cheese dish with roasted peppers, olives and Boursin; and lamb osso bucco topped with a Greek olive sauce and a slice of Naan bread and is paired with a 2008 Sangiovese, Chianti Classico from Rodano in Tuscany, Italy.
For the main course, adventurers will visit the cuisine of New York with roasted potatoes, Piquillo peppers and thyme all sautéed together to create a flavor-filled vegetable dish. Couples will fall in love with the beef filet with petite artichoke ravioli topped with a delicious red wine sauce as well as the jumbo prawns with chilies and a roasted garlic marinade paired with a 2007 Tempranillo from Finca Allende in Rioja, Spain. For dessert, couples will travel to the “City of Love” with the Parisian chocolate truffles, beignets and a berry crepe.

Simon is offering a prix fixe menu featuring lobster bisque, grilled radicchio salad, champagne flute and raspberry sorbet, grilled spiced rubbed flat iron stea with pancetta, seared diver scallops and a sweetheart sweets platter. Cost is $149 per person.
Adoring guests may enrich their taste buds with an introductory seafood trio comprised of three small dishes of yellowtail, tuna and salmon combinations, followed by a smoked Hokkaido scallop salad, drizzled in mountain peach vinaigrette dressing. The menu also will include a 5 oz. petit filet with a decadent red miso demi-glaze, as well as a refreshing nigiri tasting featuring fresh saba, albacore and tai. To conclude this distinctive tasting experience, guests may indulge in a luscious white chocolate cake topped with a cherry cremeux, served with a side of pistachio ice cream. Guests who partake in the enticing Valentine’s Day menu also will have the option of a Prosecco pairing for an additional $30.

Grand Cafes at Boulder Station, Palace Station, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station, as well as Café Fiesta at Fiesta Henderson will also feature additional menu selections. Among them is a grilled salmon with shrimp and bacon chowder for $12.99 and a char-grilled ribeye with bleu cheese compound butter, fingerling potatoes and green beans for $13.99. The Grand Café at Red Rock Resort and Green Valley Ranch Resort’s specials for the night include tomato basil bisque for $4.99 and a bacon-wrapped salmon with charred corn succotash, shaved fennel and arugula with a dill and avocado vinaigrette for $14.99.
Pasta Cucina restaurants located at Boulder Station, Palace Station and Sunset Station, as well as Terra Verde and Terra Rossa Italian restaurants at the luxury resorts will feature specialty items. The Pasta Cucina restaurants will feature a three-course meal for $26.99 with a frozen Italian zabaglione tart with Marsala lemon for dessert. Terra Verde at Green Valley Ranch Resort will offer a la carte items in addition to its standard menu, including a sea scallop Carpaccio appetizer for $19 and a pasta dish consisting of grilled langoustines with Calabrian chiles over cocoa spaghetti for $39. Terra Rossa at Red Rock Resort is offering specialty items a la carte, which includes a salmon gnocchi in lemon chive sauce with jumbo lump crab meat for $32 and a lobster pot pie with winter vegetables and black truffle for $40.
Each steakhouse will offer different menus; The Broiler at Boulder Station, Austins at Texas Station, Sonoma Cellar at Sunset Station, Charcoal Room at Santa Fe Station and Fuego at Fiesta Henderson will all feature three- and four-course meals ranging in price from $35 to $65 a person. Hank’s Fine Steaks at Green Valley Ranch Resort and Tbones Chophouse at Red Rock Resort will both offer specialty items a la carte. Among them are a baby spinach and arugula salad with duck confit and spiced fig compote for $12 and a white chocolate heart filled with milk chocolate ganache and chocolate dipped strawberry for $8 at Hank’s; a grilled bison ribeye with smoky braised cabbage for $52 and a red velvet cream cheese ice cream with Godiva chocolate ganache and macadamia nut crumble for $10 at Tbones.
Cabo Mexican restaurants at Boulder Station, Palace Station, Santa Fe Station and Sunset Station as well as Amigos at Fiesta Henderson will all feature a three-course meal for $15.99; with the entrée being hand-battered roasted poblano chiles filled with Mexican cheeses, sautéed shrimp and crab and topped with Ranchero sauce. Garduños at Fiesta Rancho will feature a three-course meal for $39.99 per person, and includes an entrée of petite filet and crab as well as a glass of champagne.
Hachi at Red Rock Resort will feature a five-course Omakase for $70 per person that includes a kabayaki filet with uni butter and tempura lobster skewer, wild mushroom, yuzu aji Amarillo dipping sauce and grated wasabi.
Top of the World Restaurant
Top of the World will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu that starts with an amuse bouche of push berry pop, parsnip soup with coconut milk and rainbow cauliflower couscous, or lobster salad; seared gulf shrimp with roasted artichoke heart or roasted vegetable medley; choice of duo of blackened beef tenderloin and oysters Rockefeller or European sea bass; and chocolate fondue. To help raise awareness for the issue of marriage equality, The Center will show a screening of “BRIDEGROOM,” a documentary that tells the emotional story of two young men, Tom and Shane, in a loving and committed relationship that was cut tragically short by Tom’s misstep off the side of a roof. Following the viewing, Shane will host a question-and-answer session with the audience. Produced and directed by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, “BRIDEGROOM” illustrates how people without legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracized after a loved one’s death.
