Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- More than 300 people showed up for the town hall meeting at the Dr. William Pearson Community Center Wednesday night to share their concerns about the George Zimmerman verdict.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity hosted the town hall meeting and gathered a panel of community leaders to take questions and give support.
When asked if the Zimmerman case was about racial profiling and whether the predominantly black audience had ever *been* profiled, nearly everyone in the audience raised their hands.
But many also admitted the community has a responsibility to get involved in the political process, to vote, and challenge laws. like stand your ground.
Rhea Watson said, "I saw more than, what I need to vote. I need to be educated on this entire process."
Several community groups plan to march to the Lloyd George Federal Courthouse in downtown Las Vegas Saturday morning.
