A Texas couple is putting a different spin on home building with some unconventional materials.
The Cockrell's are using Styrofoam blocks to frame their 1,400 square foot house. They said it's an environmentally-friendly replacement for wood and insulation.
They said they're already saving money because it's easy to do the framing themselves.
If you're wondering how Styrofoam holds up against the elements, with a little concrete, it won't rot or mildew.
It can also withstand 200 mile an hour winds.
