Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police have made an arrest in Friday night's Bellagio robbery.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

Officers determined a suspect entered the casino and approached an employee. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded money.

The employee complied and the suspect fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.

On Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Paradise Road to investigate reports of a suspicious male who checked into a hotel.

Arriving officers conducted a preliminary investigation and determined the male was involved in the Bellagio robbery.

The suspect was later taken into custody with assistance from the LVMPD SWAT team.

The suspect was transported to the Clark County Detention Center. He was booked as John Doe on charges of robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary with use of a deadly weapon.

At this time, detectives have determined that Jesse Jones is no longer a person of interest in this incident.
