Surveillance video shows ATM theft attempt in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police detectives are investigating an attempted ATM theft that occurred on Aug. 11 around 3 a.m.
It happened in the 7800 block of West Sahara Avenue.
Surveillance video of the incident shows a vehicle driving to the front of the business, followed by two suspects smashing out the front door.
The suspects enter the business, tie a strap around the ATM and attempt to pull the ATM out of the business. Detectives believe the suspects may be responsible for at least four other similar incidents.
Suspect No. 1 is described as white male adult, 20 to 30 years of age, around 5'10" and 170 pounds.
Suspect No. 2 is described as white male adult, 25 to 40 years of age, around 5'10" and 180 pounds.
The driver remained in the vehicle and is not seen.
The suspect vehicles are described as a red box style, older model pickup truck converted into a tow truck. The second suspect vehicle is described as a white pickup truck
