Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police hope surveillance photos will help lead them to a fast food robbery suspect.
During the months of August and September, there have been approximately seven incidents in which citizens waiting in their vehicles in the drive-thru lane of fast food restaurants have been robbed.
In each case, an unknown black adult male has approached the citizens and demanded money while armed with a firearm.
In one case, the suspect escaped in a white sedan.
He has been described as very heavy set with a beard and is approximately 25-35 years old.
The majority of these robberies have occurred near the I-15 and West Sahara. They typically occur in the middle of the night between 11:30 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Police are encouraging citizens to beware and remain cautious while making purchases via drive-thru windows at fast food restaurants.
They are also requesting assistance from residents in identifying the person involved in these crimes.
