Storm uproots trees and soaks neighborhoods in the Northwest part of the valley

The storm that soaked the valley Thursday afternoon, also did a lot of damage.

At least two trees near US 95 and Ann were ripped out of the ground.

One of them was a massive 20 foot tree that blocked the homeowners front door and part of the garage when it was slammed to the ground.

Neighbors say the storm sounded and felt like a tornado.

Andrew Sanchez said, "I just saw wind gusting and everything,  and it was just rain everywhere. It was just crazy."

The rain moved east to Craig and Lamb, turning that intersection into a lake.

But the heaviest rainfall pounded the pavement at Gowan and Revere.

There were even reports of hail.
