Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The mess just keeps getting bigger after the weekend of storms throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
All over the area, trees have been uprooted, toppling over onto homes and cars.
Businesses that remove trees said the calls coming in for help have tripled since Friday.
Action News rode along with Vegas Best Tree Removal on Sunday, to see how they respond and handle calls of downed trees.
Crews bounced from place to place, trying to pick up the muddy leaves, branches and trees as fast as possible.
They said they've been inundated with calls, especially after Friday night's dramatic thunderstorm. But Saturday night's storm made things worse.
Trees have fallen on just about everything.
Vegas Best Tree Removal told Action News they've doubled their staff and everyone is working 14-hour days. They're booked up through to the end of next week.
"It's very difficult for us to keep up with. About 10-percent that could have been prevented by the homeowners, but most of them are accidents," said Rudy Naranjo.
At least one Home Depot has completely sold out of chainsaws; that's the location on Decatur. They said the store on Pecos in Henderson still has some chainsaws left for sale.
