Some charges dropped in Las Vegas chalking protest case

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Some of the charges are being dropped against the protesters arrested for chalking obscene messages on the sidewalk outside of police headquarters.
Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said new information shows the group was given permission to use the sidewalk.
He's dropping the conspiracy and graffiti charges against Kelly Wayne Patterson, Brian Ballentine, Hailee Jewell and Catalino de la Cruz Dazo Jr.
Charges were never filed against a 17-year-old also arrested in the case.
