Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Opening statements could begin Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of killing a Luxor dancer.
Jason Griffith is claiming self-defense.
His attorneys told prospective jurors this week that he and his ex-girlfriend, Deborah Flores-Narvaez, got into an argument in December of 2010.
Her dismembered body was found a few weeks later encased in two tubs of concrete.
Her sister and parents are in town for the trial.
Her sister Celeste Flores-Narvaez said, "However long it takes for them to do what they need to do to put him away forever, I'm fine with it. I can live with that."
Prosecutors have decided not to seek the death penalty if Griffith is convicted.
