Services being held for fallen police officer

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Police Officer David Vanbuskirk died doing what he loved.
The member of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's search and rescue team died one week ago trying to save a hiker on Mount Charleston.
Vanbuskirk will be laid to rest Monday.
The funeral will begin at noon at Central Christian Church in Henderson but the tributes to the fallen officer will begin much earlier.
A motorcade will escort the body of the officer, his family and members of his search and rescue and air support team from Palm Mortuary in downtown Las Vegas beginning at 9 a.m.
The motorcade will travel down the Las Vegas Strip before it heads to Henderson.
After the funeral service at noon, there will be a second motorcade from the church to the cemetery on Eastern Avenue.
Vanbuskirk's family will be presented with a flag during a graveside service and there will be a 21-gun salute and a flyover by LVMPD.
Officer Vanbuskirk was born and raised in Las Vegas and he gave his life serving the community.
People from all over the Las Vegas Valley are expected to attend today's services.
