Man pronounced dead after crash on Friday morning

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 62-year-old man from Henderson crashed into an NV Energy utility pole Friday morning on East Warm Springs Road, east of Paradise Bay Drive.
Police said the man was traveling westbound on Warm Springs Road at about 4:17 a.m. when his car left the road and hit the pole.
He was transported to St. Rose Hospital and was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
It is unknown if the man suffered an episode. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner.
At this time, Henderson police do not consider it a traffic-related fatality.
The Clark County coroner will release the name of the man after relatives have been notified.
