Sen. Harry Reid lending support to Veterans Affairs Secretary
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Our military veterans deserve the very best and Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki said he can provide it.
He said he will not be resigning despite calls for him to quit.
Nevada Sen. Harry Reid is the latest to offer his support to Shinseki, calling him a "fine man" despite a string of scandals involving the treatment of service members.
President Obama said he is confident in Shinseki too.
Many veterans and the VFW are calling for him to go though after reports of 40 veterans dying while waiting for treatment in Phoenix, Arizona.
Shinseki is being blamed for mismanagement.
