Sammy's Restaurant celebrates new location with fundraiser

Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Sammy's Restaurant & Grill has opened a new location in Henderson.

The new restaurant celebrated its grand opening with a variety of festivities, including a VIP party and fundraising event on Tuesday that supported six local charities.

100 percent of the proceeds from Sammy's Gives was given to the charities. The six honorees and charities that participated were: Jesika Towbin-Mansour on behalf of Three Square; Robin Leach for Keep Memory Alive; Chet Buchanan with The Dave Rice Foundation; Melissa Arias of The Epicurean Charitable Foundation; Michael Boychuck for The Animal Foundation and Chris Phillips on behalf of Opportunity Village.

Other attendees at the event included members of Thunder from Down Under, Chippendales and "Tournament of Kings;" Dan Cox, a contestant on ABC's "The Bachelorette;" and local celebrity chef Carla Pellegrino.

The new location is directly across from the Pebble Marketplace on the corner of Green Valley Parkway and Pebble Road.

Sammy's Restaurant Bar & Grill is open 24 hours a day.
