Man killed in fatal shooting after road rage identified

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The person killed in a road rage incident Saturday as been identified as 23-year-old Kristofer Stafford of Las Vegas.
On Saturday morning around 1:45 a.m., police responded to the 6800 block of Lone Mountain after receiving reports that a man was laying in the roadway.
When officers arrived, they found Stafford suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute occurred while two vehicles were traveling down the road.
Witnesses to the road rage said the suspect fired multiple gunshots, striking the victim and then sped away.
Witnesses could only describe the suspect's vehicle as a dark-colored car with possible rear taillight damage.
So far, no arrests have been made.
