Road rage leads to fatal shooting, suspect wanted by police
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating a road rage incident that lead to a fatal shooting.
On Saturday morning around 1:45 a.m., police responded to the 6800 block of Lone Mountain after receiving reports that a male was laying in the roadway.
When officers arrived, they found the victim had suffered apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives responded.
The preliminary investigation indicated that a dispute occurred while two vehicles were traveling down the road.
Witnesses to the road rage said the suspect fired multiple gunshots, striking the victim and then sped away. Witnesses could only describe the suspect's vehicle as a dark-colored car with possible rear taillight damage.
The identity of the victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner.
