Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The heavy rainfall is causing major problems on Mount Charleston. The road into the Rainbow subdivision has been washed away.
On Kyle Canyon Road, the runoff is coming dangerously close to homes and washing out the road there as well.
There are a number of homes that line Scottie Street, and the rain is heavily impacting that area. A river of water is rushing over the street, making it difficult for homeowners in the area to reach their homes.
One resident got home on Monday, saw the mess and jumped on her tractor and started clearing parts of Scottie Street, in order for her neighbors to get back and forth.
This is something that happened last year, but Annie Goodwin said this was nothing to compared to last year, "Last year, the dirt was actually taller than my front tractor tires."
Now, it's a waiting game for neighbors, who are keeping a close eye on future runoff from the mountain.
