Rawson-Neal to use $4 million on new hires, remodeling
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- New details have been released on what's being planned for the $4 million coming to Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital.
The state funding will be used to hire 23 new staff members, remodel one of the buildings to add 22 more beds and create a "drop in" center on the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services campus.
Rawson-Neal recently came under fire for the way it handled the discharge of patients, including some who were dumped in other states.
The hospital also lost an independent agency's accreditation last week after deciding not to appeal its findings.
