Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A group of Las Vegas residents gathered on Thursday night to remember Michael Brown, the teenager who was shot and killed by a police officer in Missouri.

The group marched with signs near Carey Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

The rally wasn't just about Michael Brown though. The activist said the vigil and peace rally is a call for justice for all victims of police brutality.

Demonstrators also gathered in front of the White House on Thursday to deliver a petition calling for justice for Michael Brown.

The petition calls on the Justice Department to "fully investigate" the shooting and "fire" the Ferguson police office involved.
