Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The rainy and windy weather has caused a semi truck to roll over in Las Vegas.
It happened Saturday afternoon on Interstate 15 southbound, just south of St. Rose Parkway.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said the driver was stuck in the truck, but he is okay.
Authorities believe the weather played a factor in the crash. They said the truck was traveling in the slow lane, when a big gust of wind came through and pushed it over.
NHP said two lanes of traffic are closed going southbound. Drivers are urged to use an alternative route.
Tow trucks are now preparing to flip the semi back over. NHP hopes to have the scene cleared by 4:30 p.m.
Action News will post more information as it becomes available.
