Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Salvation Army is getting a big show of support after two grinches robbed a local bell ringer outside of a grocery store.

Leroy Fuller says a man and a woman walked by him several times at the Smith's grocery store near Rainbow Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue before they snatched his kettle and ran away.

Today, Sunny 106.5 FM held a telethon to try and raise money to replace what was stolen. People from all over the valley called in and donated more than $1,000.

Smith's has said that they will also donate $1,000.
