Police seek help in solving Wednesday night homicide

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are looking for the person responsible for the death of a man on Wednesday night near downtown Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a deceased black adult male was discovered around 10:35 p.m. July 24 near West Bonanza Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

LVMPD says that the victim appeared to have been shot.

The Clark County coroner will determine the official cause of death and release the name of the victim after relatives have been notified.

No one has been arrested and LVMPD is asking for the public's assistance in solving the deadly shooting.
