Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local law enforcement agencies are making their rounds looking for impaired drivers this Thanksgiving.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is planning a sobriety checkpoint the night before the holiday.

They will set up one in the Las Vegas Valley starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, and going until 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police said they will be operating at one of the areas known for accidents and impaired drivers.
