One person dead after shooting at after-hours nightclub inside Bally's
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police were called to an early morning shooting at Bally's hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened at Drai's, an after-hours nightclub inside the hotel-casino.
Police said a man arrived at the club, went inside but then decided to leave because it was not busy.
Police said he got into an argument with the manager because he wanted a refund of the cover charge.
The man shot the manager and a security guard that responded to the incident.
A patron who attempted to intervene was shot and killed.
The shooter was subdued by other patrons and security guards.
The shooter was also injured during the incident and transported to University Medical Center. He will be booked in absentia into the Clark County Detention Center.
The Clark County Coroner's Office will release the name of the person who was killed after relatives have been notified.

At approximately 5:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21 a shooting occurred outside of the entrance of Drai’s After Hours nightclub located inside Bally’s Las Vegas.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Both Drai’s and Bally’s are actively supporting the efforts of law enforcement.
The safety and security of our guests is our number one priority. Law enforcement officials recognized the efforts of both the Drai’s and Bally’s security teams in quickly responding to the incident and securing the area.
Drai’s After Hours and Bally’s Las Vegas extend deepest sympathies to those injured by the shooter.
