Police looking for suspect in birthday party shooting

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- 17-year-old Jaylin Lewis of Las Vegas was shot at a birthday party shortly before midnight Saturday.
He would have been a junior at Rancho High School, according to CCSD.
The shooting was reported at 11:50 p.m. It took place at a house located in the 1100 block of Tamerack Avenue, near North Rancho and Vegas drives.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a fight involving Lewis broke out at the party.
The suspect fled the house after the shooting. Lewis was transported to University Medical Center Trauma and was later pronounced deceased.
Police are still looking for the suspect. A description has not been provided.
This is the 63rd murder in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year.
