Police investigating discovery of body in downtown Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police were called out to investigate a death in downtown Las Vegas.
A body was discovered Monday morning near an apartment building in the 300 block of South 7th Street near Bridger Avenue.
Detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
The Clark County Coroner identified the deceased as 24-year-old Ovik Banerjee of Las Vegas. He died from multiple blunt force injuries after jumping from a building.
The manor of his death has been ruled a suicide.
It was unclear how Banerjee died when his body was found.
