Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The folks at Opportunity Village are busy taking down the Halloween lights and getting ready for Christmas.
This year was the first year that the organization presented HallOVeen and it is the first year that they have to remove those decorations and start getting ready for their annual Christmas display.
They are taking down 1 million orange lights and putting up 3 million Christmas lights instead.
Patty Rogers, who has volunteered at Opportunity Village for years, was chosen as the head designer for the first Halloween fundraiser.
Now, she is helping convert the space into the Magical Forest.
Executive Director Linda Smith told Action News that she was initially resistant to the idea of the Halloween event but it surpassed their expectations.
The Magical Forest is scheduled to open Nov. 22. It is the organization's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Action News went behind the scenes to find out how they are doing it.
