Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Carpenter 1 wildfire is now 90 percent contained and all of the evacuees have been allowed to return home but now officials are trying to decide when the general public can go back up the mountain.

Emergency managers are meeting this morning to discuss opening Mount Charleston and the surrounding area to the public.

The plan was to have it open on Friday but a weekend storm could prevent that.
