New dining & retail options at Miracle Mile Shops
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood have anounced the addition of four new dining and retail destinations -- Meatball Spot, Ketchup Premium Burger Bar, Tervis and Shoe Palace. The Meatball Spot will bring its gourmet meatballs, salads, soups and more to Miracle Mile this winter. Ketchup, featuring burgers, hot dogs, fries and alcohol-infused milkshakes, will open in November. Tervis, known for its unique tumblers, will open its doors in December. And in February 2014, the Shoe Palace will bring its elite clothing and shoe brands to Miracle Mile. More info.
The Rock n' Roll Fantasy Camp on West Harmon Avenue is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Oct. 8. The camp features 10 fully-equipped music studios filled with the latest gear. A party to celebrate the event will take place today. Scheduled appearances include Elliot Easton of The Cars, Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons, Ron Keel of Steeler, The Proton Saints, Sin City Sinners and more. More info.

Tender Steak & Seafood at the Luxor hotel-casino is offering several new fall menu items. New items include crustless broccoli quiche, creamed sweet corn, Smokin' Phantom Stinger Hot Chili Sauce, artisan cheeses including Beecher's Flagship Reserve and goat cheddar from Central Coast Creamery, and the popular Pumpkin Pie Martini. Pixies tickets on sale
The Pixies (at least most of them) are headed back to Las Vegas and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. They will be performing at The Joint on Feb. 23. The performance is part of their world tour. They will be performing in 33 cities in the United States from coast to coast. Tickets start at $42. More info.
Undefeated WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley Jr. and Mexican icon Juan Manuel Marquez will be making their grand arrive at the south valet entrance of Wynn Las Vegas at 12:30 p.m. today. The public is invited to attend. The two will fight at the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at Thomas & Mack box office. More info.
Phoenix at Boulevard Pool
Phoenix, the alternative rock band from Versailles, France, is performing at 8 p.m. today at the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan. They will be performing songs from their newly-released fifth album "Bankrupt!" Tickets are $35, plus tax and fees. More info.
Party Comedy Show

Oyster Happy Hour
If you have never had the chance to check out P.J. Clarke's Oyster Riot Happy Hour, this week would be a good time to do so. There is nothing special happening this week. Conor Oberst is best known as the guitarist for the American indie rock band Bright Eyes. He has also performed with Monsters of Folk, Desaparecidos, Norman Bailer (The Faint) and Commander Venus. Fall display at Bellagio
Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Garden's fall display features more than 8,500 chrysanthemums, 2,500 pumpkins, a 40-foot-tall red wood cider mill, a 20-foot-tall enchanted talking tree, a 25-foot-tall fantasy tree and more.
