Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Just weeks after it was voted down, the Clark County Commission will again consider raising the sales tax to hire more cops.
Commissioner Tom Collins is pitching an increase of .15-percent, as previously requested by Sheriff Doug Gillespie.
But it would be split.
Under Collins' proposal, the sales tax would increase .10-percent in April, and another .05-percent in July.
