New details released about beating of adult film star, local doctor helps

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Disturbing new details have been released about the attack of an adult film star by her ex-boyfriend, a professional mixed martial arts fighter.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have released more details about the brutal beating of Christy Mack allegedly at the hands of Jonathan Koppenhaver.

Koppenhaver was arrested Friday in California and he is scheduled to appear in court there on Tuesday.

Mack said the former professional fighter showed up at her house near Desert Inn Road and Eastern Avenue and attacked her.

Newly-released court documents says that Koppenhaver allegedly left her with several broken bones, missing teeth and a lacerated liver.

The injuries to her mouth were so bad that Mack was reportedly unable to chew solid food.

The documents say that Koppenhaver threw her into the shower and then he went through her Twitter and Instagram accounts and every time he found something he did not like, he would hit her.

He also threatened to rape her and held a dull knife to her head. She escaped when he went to the kitchen to find a sharper knife.

Mack is now getting help from a local doctor after he saw photographs of the damage to her mouth.

Dr. Adam Lousignont reached out to Mack through a mutual friend and began treating her immediately free of charge.

Lousignont says generally in cases of physical trauma to the head and mouth, the severity of the injuries are not often visible for several months.

So far, he has given the adult film star some temporary teeth.

Mack took to twitter to thank him, writing "I cried when I saw myself with teeth again."

Lousignont says it is just a temporary fix. Mack said on Twitter that she will be seeing a dentist in New York in a few weeks to get her permanent teeth.

Many people have also donated to a fund for Mack. The money is to help her as she recovers from the brutal attack.
