New details into fatal motorcycle crash off Summerlin Parkway
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- New details have been released surrounding a fatal motorcycle crash over the weekend.
NHP said the preliminary investigation revealed on Aug. 10 at approximately 2:10 a.m., a 1987 Yamaha was traveling eastbound on Summerlin Parkway and then entered the Buffalo Drive off-ramp.
The Yamaha struck the exit-sign post, overturned and tumbled.
The operator and passenger were ejected.
The male operator was transported to UMC where he was in critical condition.
The passenger, 26-year-old Jamelle James of North Las Vegas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
