New Clark County West Nile virus case in human reported
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Southern Nevada Health District is reporting new cases of West Nile virus in Nevada.
Tests have found infected mosquitoes in 16 of the 17 Nevada counties, including Clark County.
SNHD also said one person, an adult over the age of 50, is currently in the hospital with the more serious neuroinvasive form of the illness.
This is the fifth case of human infection reported in Clark County this year.
