Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Senate will vote Tuesday whether to extend emergency unemployment benefits for three months.
That would be good news for 17,000 Nevadans whose benefits expired at the end of last month.
Action News caught up with people who are looking for work but won't get any money unless that extension goes through.
Both Senators Harry Reid and Dean Heller want the emergency unemployment benefits extended.
Several members of Congress were absent Monday due to the bad weather, postponing the vote until Tuesday morning.
