Nevada unemployment office still working to catch up

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada's unemployment office says it is still receiving lots of calls but they are making progress with claims.
The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation has been trying to catch up since a problem with the transition to a new computer systems.
DETR says that roughly 55,000 claims were processed last week.
DETR has opened its call center the last two Saturdays to help those trying to file claims. There is no word yet on if the call center will be open this Saturday.
