Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle near West Flamingo and Lindell Roads in west Las Vegas.
The crash was reported at about 8:51 a.m. Thursday morning.
Evidence at the scene indicated the motorcycle was traveling west on Flamingo at the intersection with Lindell.
A Chevrolet Impala was traveling east on Flamingo attempting to make a left turn to northbound Lindell.
The motorcycle overturned onto its right side and entered the intersection. The motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the Chevrolet.
The impact caused the Chevrolet to rotate approximately 180 degrees as it slid to a stop northbound.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to UMC Trauma with minor injuries.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 30-year-old Daniel James Varian II of Las Vegas.
