Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A memorial was held Monday night for a father and husband killed by a man police said was too drunk to drive.
Family and friends gathered to remember Robert Lujan at the spot where he died.
Lujan was a pavement worker on the job Sunday morning when a truck slammed into him.
Police said the person who hit him is Rafael Mendez Soto. They said he ran off and hid in a nearby trash bin. He was arrested after failing a sobriety test.
Lujan had a wife, three children and seven grandchildren. They are touched by all the people who came out to the memorial.
