Man pleads guilty for setting fires at autism facility

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas man has pleaded guilty to trying to destroy a local children's autism learning facility by using fire and explosives.
According to his plea, 24-year-old Samuel Powers knowingly and maliciously damaged a building which housed Sport Social located on Windy Street.
Powers broke into the building in April and poured gasoline throughout the facility and set multiple fires.
The fires caused at least $50,000 in damage.
Powers could face anywhere between five and 20 years in prison.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
