Man killed after running red light at Arville and Oakey

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man is dead after a car crash near Arville Street and Oakey Boulevard on Thursday night.
It happened at about 9:21 p.m. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a 2002 Dodge Dakota was traveling east on Oakey and crossing Arville on a green light.
A 1997 Buick Park Avenue traveling north on Arville ran a red light and crashed into the Dakota.
The driver of the Dakota was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Buick Park Avenue was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased will be released by the Clark County coroner after relatives have been notified.
This was the 63rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction this year. The crash remains under investigation.
