Man accused of threatening Las Vegas mayor appears in court

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man accused of sending threatening letters to the mayor of Las Vegas and a state official processing his worker's compensation claim appeared in court on Thursday.
Alfred Blackwell's pre-trial was set for Dec. 31, with his trial scheduled for Jan. 6.
The 54-year-old was arrested last month, one day after the alleged threats were sent.
