Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A unique recycling program is underway in the Las Vegas Valley.
Dried up markers will get a new life thanks to students at Rainbow Company Youth Theater.
The young actors along with Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman unveiled drop-boxes for donations.
They will be placed at city hall and other locations as part of Crayola's Energy Conservation Site, and will be converted into usable fuel.
Any brand of markers can be donated, including dry erase and highlighters.
