Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Hundreds of people in Las Vegas joined folks around the world protesting genetically modified foods, aiming their anger at one company.
The annual March Against Monsanto was held Saturday at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign.
Protesters are calling for labeling or boycotting GMOs. They believe the use of GMOs is hurting us in the long run, not only our personal health, but economically.
The march in Las Vegas was just one of more than 400 in 52 countries around the world.
Monsanto released a statement, saying they are proud of the work they do and they want people to know more about it.
They also said it's important people are able to express and share their differing points of view.
