Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are investigating the near-drowning of a two-year-old boy in a family pool on Saturday.
Both police and the fire department responded to the call. It happened around 1:50 p.m. near Washington and Eastern avenues.
The child was not breathing, and was cold to the touch. The boy was taken to UMC and now has a heartbeat and is on a ventilator.
During the investigation, police found that a family member was watching the toddler. The person lost track of the toddler and found them in the family pool.
The abuse and neglect unit is conducting an investigation.
