Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Tributes have been pouring in for the 36-year-old Las Vegas police officer that was killed Monday night during the rescue of a stranded hiker on Mount Charleston.
A couple of events have already been planned to remember David Vanbuskirk and one of those took place Wednesday at the gym he trained at.
The Sergio Penha's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy hosted an open mat session beginning at noon.
Vanbuskirk has been training at the gym for the past 10 years and was a black belt.
