Little girl injured by hit-and-run driver on Halloween leaving hospital

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Today is a big day for the little girl that was hit by a car on Halloween night.
Six-year-old Brazyl Ward is leaving the hospital and headed to a rehab facility.
Action News has been following Brazyl's story since that horrible night. The little girl is recovering from a severe brain injury and broken leg.
It has been a difficult journey for Brazyl and her family, filled with highs and lows, but now the doctors say that she is ready to take the next step and start rehab.
Team Brazyl says they will be forever grateful to the community for their financial support and prayers.
Brazyl is expected to be back to normal within 6 months to a year.
Police are still looking for the person who hit Brazyl and left the scene.
The vehicle was a silver sedan, similar to a Ford Focus or Volkswagen Jetta and it probably has some front-end damage.
